Overview
Boy, do I love watching the Primetime Wings in action. While I wish it didn’t come down to overtime, that game was everything I wanted from the boys. I can’t think of a better third line in the league than that Tarasenko line. While I didn’t bet it, I was so happy for Berggy to get his first of the season. Mo also played solid while shadowing Crosby for most of the game. Crosby couldn’t seem to be comfortable with Seider constantly on his hip. The star of the game was without a doubt Talbot, who had some major saves to keep the Wings in the game. His biggest came in overtime when he highway-robbed Malkin, who snuck in for a 1-on-0. The only worry I had about the game was the powerplay, but they can’t always bury everything, so I feel like they’ll be solid tonight if given the opportunity. Eddy came in clutch at the end though, netting the winner from a sweet feed from Debrincat.
We finally got the monkey off the back after winning a couple of units from the boys. We weren’t able to hit any of the player props to complete the parlay, but the moneyline and team over bailed us out. Larkin’s been a little cold, going a couple of games without scoring, but I do like him to tuck tonight. He had many chances to score, but just couldn’t get one by Ned. Thankfully, the OT winner ended up being the third goal we needed to hit the team over. We’re still down a ton of units, but winning some units last game was a step in the right direction.

Prediction
Tonight we get our first West Coast start of the season, flying into Anaheim’s home barn. The Monster will be flowing through the bloodstream tonight as we got ourselves a nice 10 pm start. I’m a little worried that the boys will feel some jet lag, but as trained athletes I expect them to be dialed in against the 2nd worst team in the league. Lyon’s returning from his minor injury, so he will be getting the nod tonight, so hopefully he comes back with some passion. With some weaker teams on the schedule, I fully expect the Wings to pick up some much-needed wins on this road trip. The Ducks struggle to put pucks in the net on the power play and are among the weaker teams on the penalty kill as well.
With that in mind, the first pick in my parlay is for Larkin to get a point on the powerplay. With him in front of the net, he is constantly getting a lot of good looks by facilitating the puck from the middle and getting a ton of looks at the net. Along with Larkin, I also have Mo to get a point in this game. While the last game didn’t work out for them, with Mo as the quarterback, he loves getting into each play, so I see him getting an apple or even a goal. To wrap up the parlay, I’m also hoping for the Wings to start the road trip off hot and get a win against this weaker Ducks team. With only 2 of our losses being against weaker teams, such as the Sabres and Pens, I expect them to dominate all three periods.
