Recap
Add last game to the now never-ending list of 1 goal losses in a row. With a ton of opportunities late I the game, it wouldn’t be enough to tie it up, as Georgiev absolutely locked down the Wings. While we finally had a game where only 2 total penalties were called, the most pitiful penalty kill in the league decided to do what they do best, and give up powerplay goals. It is just getting annoying that we can’t plan or change up our penalty kill in any way to make it work. Instead, Lalonde just keeps sending out the same fucking lines to go out and get scored on. With how close all of our games have been, it is so frustrating to see them give out free goals every game. The Wings actually held their own against the Avs though, unfortunately they had to go against Georgiev’s only good performance of the year. But again that’s just how this season has been, being dead last in puck luck. And holy shit, if we are going to just lose all these games, can we at least let Cossa get some reps in net. I’d much rather see him get playing time, than watch Husso’s win percentage stuck at zero. I don’t know how many more of these I can write, as I’m running out of patience putting in this much effort for a team that doesn’t give a shit about me. But all I can do is sit here and just drink as my team plummets down the standings.
With the Wings cold as ice, our picks have been putrid as well. Things have kind of gotten away from me as I haven’t come close to hitting these big bets. The best thing I can do now is let the streak ride out and press even harder. With the Wings scoring one goal, it killed the bet on that, but also made the other part of the parlay just as impossible. There are no excuses for it and our hopes lie with the Wings, but I will be better for everyone.

Prediction
Tonight marks the third and final installation of the Wings vs. Sabres saga. With both team continuing to disappoint fans, this battle of the mid will be one of the worst games ever seen on TV. I truly don't think that there is one positive to winning this game. If we win the game then who cares, we are still going to be a bottom team and Lalonde keeps his job. With a loss, we are the embarrassment of the league and odds are that Yzerman won't fire Lalonde. these predictions should be relatively easy, especially with the losing streak we have, but Lalonde just keeps finding a way to lose hockey games. There is zero motivation on the bench and you can see it. Guys not back checking 100 percent, lazy breakouts, messy passes, just stuff you see in Timbits. Much like watching the Patriots for Drake Maye, I'm hoping by giving Cossa a start, maybe it will motivate the boys to work a little extra for him. Rather than throwing away a start for some bum who doesn't belong in the league. This is going to be a depressing matchup and I know that my Buffalo friends feel the same way about this game. It's funny too because both teams were eyeing the last matchup, but how drastically things have changed, now they are dreading it.
Tonight's pick is going to be short and ugly. With the season hanging on by a thread, the Wings mmust win this hockey game. They suck so bad, but somehow always find a way to beat up on teams they've previously beat. With both teams looking awful entering tonight, no one has the streak to take this game easily. Instead we will be getting a 50/50 matchup and with the Wings as unnderdogs, I'll take those odds anyday of the week.
Pick
Red Wings Moneyline +125 (5u)
