Recap
The Primetime Wings strike again!! There was never a doubt inn my mind that they were going to lose that game. After giving up a quick one early in the first, the boys immediately turned on the jets and started working. I believe the shots were 14-4 at one point after that first goal, and thankfully, Compher tied it up on the powerplay right before the intermission. The Wings then picked up where they left off, scoring one about 10 minutes into the second, but boy did the Flyers respond quickly, 35 seconds to be specific. However, the second period ended with Ras and Veleno showing off our elite depth by tucking one a piece. The start of the third was a little shaky, with the Flyers tying up the game at 4-4, but after that it was all Wings. Kanne finally broke his scoring skid, with his goal ultimately being the game winner. I mean how much better does it get, having that guy on the ice. Overall, it was just a dominant performance from the Primetime Wings.
Boy did we strike gold with this game as well. We kept the pick simple, but put a lot of trust in the boys to make sure that 10 unit play was safe. They showed up for us when we needed them most and got us our biggest hit of the year. It was a ballsy call, but I even added an extra 5 units after they let up the first one because I was that confident in the squad. Although that is an unofficial 5 units, I’ll still take those extra units all day long. This was the turning point inn the season and I’m right back on the hype train with the boys. LGRW!

Prediction
Tomorrow night the Wings face off against a battered team at home. The Canadiens have struggled this year, and the Wings do a good job at exposing weak teams’ weaknesses. Unfortunately, my good buddy who used to be a Wings fan, left us for Montreal so this game is personal. My goal for the Wings in this game is to absolutely embarrass them. We got a back to back with them the day after, so I want Montreal to dread having to wake up and play us again. It’s so essential in BTB’s to smash their faces in early, so all they can think about is having to do it again. LCA was buzzing last night, and we need them to bring the same atmosphere on Friday. I have nothing more to say, but I love where this team is at and I expect them to continue this solid play.
With us rolling in the units now, I’m going to be smart and continue to ride these straight bets. Both these plays have unbelievable value and are so due with them starting a little streak. The Canadiens are some spitfires, but we should dominate them with ease. The first pick is going to be the Wings to win in regulation. We haven’t had a ton of extra time in our games this year, so if the Wings are going to win, I expect it to be in 60 minutes of game time. The other play is essentially the same thing, but instead of a one goal win, we’re going to either need a blowout or an empty netter to win by 2 or more. I love both these plays and 2 units a piece should be enough to get us up high in units on the year.
Pick
