Overview
Things are bad. I’ve reached the point where I don’t even enjoy turning the game on to watch the Wings play. They bring me no excitement and having the camera pan over to that bald terrorist sitting behind the players makes me want to throw up. He has proved many many times that he is incompetent and cannot coach at the NHL level, but despite all of these signs, he still remains the coach. I don’t know if he has some sort off dirt on my beloved Stevie Y, or if he’s doing some voodoo magic, but he needs to go right now. Boston already took care of the pest on their team, so now it’s the Wings turn. It looked like the Wings were trolling against the Sharks because they looked so lazy during the whole game until about 9 minutes left in the third, they realized they might lose this hockey game. I fear we have become powerplay merchants, who need powerplays to win games. Yeah we got a point against the Sharks, but come on, it’s the fucking Sharks. Please fire Lalonde Steve and hire Coach Q, or anybody that isn’t bald.
Our picks somehow did well despite the pitiful performance from the team. Our loss of the night came with the game going into extra time, as we had the Wings to win in regulation, but the big picks found a way to hit. The one we’ve been chasing for a week was Larkin to get a point on the powerplay, and that barely came with a weird bounce off a defenseman to get Larkin an apple on Debrincat’s goal. With only three chances that game, it was looking bleak, but the boys love waiting until the end of the game to get things done. The other pick came early in the first, when Kasper got his second goal of the season, getting an apple from both Gus and Vlad, who was our guy to get a point. This win actually brought us back from the dead, and now we are in positive units on the season, counting our units wagered in the win. Hopefully, we can continue this little hot streak we have, while the Wings continue to disappoint me on a nightly basis.

Prediction
As a bottom tier team now, I don’t expect much from this team. The goalies continue to confuse me, with their absolute lack of consistency, so I can’t even predict who will be in net tonight. Maybe Osgood will put away the headset and switch from the broadcast team, to in between the pipes. The Islanders are just as mid as us, and we have beaten them this year, but that honestly means nothing after losing to both the Ducks and the Sharks. With the Islanders’ boring style of hockey, I expect this game to be a complete snooze fest. They don’t give up many goals, but they have the worst PP and PK in the league, along with being a bottom tier goal scoring team. Unless they take a lot of penalties against us, I just don’t see the Wings getting pucks in the back of the net. I apologize in advance for what my fellow Wings fans will have to endure tonight in Detroit.
Since the Wings can’t seem to get anything going while 5 on 5, I will be taking Alex Debrincat to get a point on the powerplay tonight. With the Alex Ovechkin role on the team of just teeing it up on the left side, the facilitators, Mo, Dylan, and Kaner, always seem to look for him on the advantage. If powerplay 1 is going to continue their hot streak tonight, it will certainly be run through number 93 on the left side. To keep it simple, I will be building off of that pick with his total shots on the game as well. This pick hasn’t hit all year, but he should have plenty off chances to get this, as long as he doesn’t pull his signature move of missing wide open nets. Since the picks are pretty basic, I’ll also be parlaying them together for some extra juice.
Picks
Alex Debrincat o0.5 PPP +300 (1u)
Alex Debrincat o2.5 SOG -140 (2u)
Parlayed together +475 (1u)
